My offer starts where mountain schools and alpine clubs end their alpine training courses (you already should bring this know-how with you). It is aimed at all ambitious climbers and alpinists who want to further develop their skills. If you have realised that you make more targeted progress with individual coaching, then you are exactly right here! Because time is our most valuable resource.
I work individually with you (or additionally with your climbing partner). So I can focus on your wishes and weaknesses in order to achieve the maximum result for you. Together we work on improving your technique, efficiency and skills, the right tactics, your mental strength and self-assessment.
Qualifications
I hold the highest coaching qualifications in alpine mountain sports. Being a mountaineering instructor and trainer with DOSB/DAV license for mountaineering, ice climbing, performance mountaineering, I have a lot of know-how and experience in knowledge transfer from over 400 training courses in the last 20 years. I really love passing on my more than 30 years of mountain experience.
I have been teaching systemic training in climbing at the Institute for Sports Science at the University of Giessen for more than 15 years.

- I have up-to-date training in first aid and mountain rescue rock alpine
- I am fully insured and have appropriate professional indemnity insurance

Process
Before the start of the coaching session, we determine the process together in a personal conversation. The training sessions are tailored to your specific needs. Later adjustments are possible at any time. You can also spread the desired topics over several years – as it works best for you so you can benefit 100% of it.
Rates in 2024
Half day rate (3 – 4 hours)
2 persons: 140 € per person
1 person: 250 €
Daily rate (6 – 8 hours)
2 persons: 210 € per person
1 person: 380 €
(Prices incl. equipment listed below, plus additional costs.)
Equipment:
Safety equipment such as avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe is included.
Additional equipment such as ice tools, ice screws and crampons is possible.
Additional costs:
The daily rates shown above are my fee and do not include any additional costs.
Depending on the region/tour, the following additional costs may apply:
- Travel expenses
- Accommodation costs and half board
- Mountain railway/Téléski tickets
